Quality Improvement By Eileen Dean, MA, MN, MS, RN This one-hour continuing education course is designed to provide the basic concepts of quality improvement (QI) in emergency medical services. It will provide a brief history of quality improvement and the basic steps of the quality improvement loop. It will discuss how to begin a QI program, how to design the studies, how to examine the data and how to determine an improvement plan.
