Advanced Coronary Life Support - Part VII

By Eileen Dean, MA, MN, MS, RN

This one-hour continuing education course will discuss current thought regarding end-of-life issues other than the legal considerations covered in another course in this ACLS series. Questions posed by medical professionals regarding family inclusion programs and the possible solutions are also discussed in this course. Requirements and training for an inclusion program are outlined as well. The need for often-overlooked care for the caregiver is also stressed. There is a discussion about infectious disease concerns surrounding resuscitation and resuscitation training classes. Finally, there is a brief discussion regarding quality improvement in the area of resuscitation.
